Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched its second quad camera smartphone Honor 9 Lite in India on Wednesday at an event in New Delhi. The device sale will go on exclusively via Flipkart from January 21. The main highlight of this device was its dual front and rear cameras. Another highlight is this device runs on company’s latest EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. This device was launched in two storage variants in India.

Honor 9 Lite Specifications

Honor 9 Lite comes with a 5.65-inch (1080x2160pixels) Full HD+ IPS Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 428ppi. It is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor coupled with 3/4GB RAM. This is a Dual Sim device which runs on latest EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

As we mentioned in previous posts, Honor 9 Lite has the quad camera. Both the Dual cameras sport 13-Megapixel Primary sensor and 2-Megapixel secondary sensor. The rear camera also supports PDAF AutoFocus and LED Flash.

Coming to its storage, Honor 9 Lite will be available in 32GB and 64GB of inbuilt storage. Both the devices can also be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card slot. This device also supports 4G VoLTE and other connectivities like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, Micro USB and 3.5mm headphone jack. It also has sensors like accelerometer, proximity, ambient light sensor and digital compass.

Honor 9 Lite packs a 3000mAh of the battery under the hood. The company claims that it will deliver 20 hours of 3g talk time and 24 days of standby time.

Honor 9 Lite Price in India

This device was first launched in China in December and now India is the second market to launch it. In India, they have launched the two storage variants and both the variants sale will go on exclusively via Flipkart from January 21, at 12pm IST. The 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 10,999 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB Inbuilt is priced at Rs. 14,999. In China, they have also launched the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage variant. But in India, this variant is not yet unveiled. The two storage variants launched in India will be available in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Glacial Grey colour variant. Honor is also offering 10% Extra Discount for Citibank Credit card and Debit card users.
