Xiaomi Redmi Note 5: Xiaomi has finally launched their Redmi note 5 after its successor Redmi Note 4. This device was launched at an event in New Delhi. It will be the Xiaomi’s first ever device with 18:9 aspect ratio Display as stated in earlier leaks. The company also said that they have performed growth in its camera department.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Specifications

Redmi Note 5 comes with a 5.99-inch (2160x1080pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 Display with 2.5D Curved Glass and also with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 505GPU. This device has 3GB/4GB RAM and 32/64GB of inbuilt storage, which can also be expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD card slot.

Talking about its camera, it sports a 12-Megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and Dual Tone LED Flash. On the front, it bears a 5-Megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and Soft LED Flash. This device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

Connectivity features on the board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Micro USB and 3.5mm Headphone Jack. It also supports sensors like Fingerprint and Infrared. This device packs a massive 4000mAh Non-Removable battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be available in four colour variants – Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue. It will be available in tow different storage variants. The 3GB RAM with 32GB storage is priced at Rs. 9,999 and the 4GB RAM with 64GB storage is at Rs. 11,999. This device will be exclusively available via Flipkart from February 22nd also at Mi.com and Mi Home retail stores.
